“We looked at houses for a long time and eventually we found a spec house designed and built by JT Builders in Edgemont. After spending a year and a half in the house we couldn't be happier. Our house is oriented in the most brilliant direction possible. In the summer, on the east side of the house, we get a natural wake-up call from the sun and not the alarm. In the hot afternoon, the sun is behind the garage, and the back patio is shaded. Our large south-facing windows never actually have any sun coming through them in the summer.
In the winter, the sun stays low to the south shining through the large windows most of the day, assisting with daylight and heat. The garage door and driveway also face south so snow disappears quickly.
The floor plan utilizes the space very well with the master bedroom downstairs, kids’ bedrooms, and a play/tv room upstairs, a perfect split with a perfect distance from the kids. An exterior door in the master bathroom provides easy access to the back patio hot tub which we live in.
We are truly enjoying our home. If I should ever move to a different area of town in the future I would love to have JT Builders build my home for me.”
